    Research and Retrieval Fee - $18.45/hr

    If document is to be certified - $2.00

    Copy Fee - $0.50/page

    To send by postal mail - $12.35

    Credit/Debit card convenience fee - 4%

    CD/DVD copy fee - $30.00 per disc

    Marriage, Divorce and Birth Records
    Virginia Code section §32.1-272, which became effective March 1, 2014 provides that the Department of Motor Vehicles may now issue certified birth, marriage and divorce records.

    The Clerk’s Office maintains marriage and divorce records. You may come to the Clerk’s Office to request a copy of the documents, or you may call the Norfolk Circuit Court Clerk’s Office (757) 389-8942 option 5. Certified copies from the Clerk’s Office are $2.00 plus $0.50 per page.
